Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.

When I was 21 years old, I attended an Amway convention and was introduced to the idea of personality. Standing in the audience I became tearful as the speaker began explaining different world views and how understanding your personality can be so valuable in knowing who you are, how you are and how you interact with others! I remember thinking, "oh my gosh... now I get some of the conflicts I've had in my relationships." I began researching all the models of personality and, at the time, decided to become certified and use MBTI with clients as I began my counseling career and used it for the first 15 years successfully.  About 15 years ago, I was re-introduced to the Enneagram and began incorporating it into my sessions. I was amazed at the way the Enneagram, used in conjunction  with other traditional and progressive psychotherapy models, immediately increased client collaboration and clinical outcomes! I now teach other clinicians to use my Enneagram Empowered Psychology and the Enneagram Mapping Method to create better treatment plans, treatment and discharge plans to increase client success. I also offer Enneagram Empowered Couples Retreats and Intensives and consult with business groups for increased employee success.
