When I was 21 years old, I attended an Amway convention and was introduced to the idea of personality typing. Standing in the audience I became tearful as the speaker began explaining different world views and how understanding your type can be so valuable in better understanding how you are and how you interact with others! I remember thinking, "oh my gosh... now I understand some of the conflicts I've had in my relationships." I began researching all the models of personality typing and, at the time, decided to become certified and use the MBTI with clients as I began my counseling private practice and used it for the first 10 years successfully.  About 10 years ago, I was re-introduced to the Enneagram and began incorporating it into my sessions. I was amazed at the way the Enneagram, used in conjunction with traditional and progressive psychology, immediately increased client collaboration and outcomes! I now teach other clinicians to use my Enneagram Mapping Method to create better treatment plans, treatment and discharge plans to increase client retention and success. I also introduce the Empowered Enneagram to business groups for increased employee success and to couples in weekend Empowered Enneagram Couples Retreats.

I love all things psychology, progressive and therapeutic! When I'm not working, I like to travel, explore and experience the world with my friends. I love food and wine and hiking & biking in the places I adventure to!
